An easy hike with stellar views. We encountered more mud than we’d have liked, but with unbridled sunshine, it was a fantastic day on the mountain.
It was a bluebird day, so why not hike an old friend? Mt Monadnock was in fine shape, and the views were stellar!
Mud season put the kibosh on plans to hike elsewhere, so I hiked up to the fire tower on Red Hill in Moultonborough, NH
It was a long, challenging hike, but rewarding, and with great views of nearby mountains.
The Osceolas are at once a relatively short hike, but very steep and strenuous. Yet they have some of the best views in the Whites.

Last of Winter! Mt Cabot. 4120 feet. 2019-03-20 (Wednesday.) Via the York Pond trail, Bunnell Notch trail, Kilkenny Ridge trail.
