Mt Watatic is the southern terminus of the Wapack trail. Great views abound, on a family friendly hike.
Sometimes hiking in the rain is more fun than you’d ever expect. If it cools down an oppressively hot day, so much the better!

What’s there to say about Waumbek? The trail is short and on easy grades, but there’s no real view. What about “it’s that old, soft flannel shirt that feels so amazing”?
